A project that was inspired from the death of Billy's father
Like Father Like Son will be a blend of the many musicial styles that have influenced him over the years. Billy grew up listening to Bluegrass, Traditional Country, New Country, and Rock "I hope to blend these different styles into a sound that is all my own. I want people to know it is me when they hear my music. There will be some guest on this CD that are family and friends that have meant a lot to me over the years and are very talented musicians. life

My father was a musician with the talent to play just about any instrument you placed in his hands. His love for music was so strong he never made it past the seventh grade. Once free from school he began a journey that took him all the way to Nashville, where he earned the right to be inducted into the Country Music Songwriters Hall Of Fame. His career lasted well over 50 years and together with Pee Wee King he wrote some of the best country music around. With hits like Tennessee Waltz, You Belong To Me, Bonapartes Retreat, Slow Poke, and Solders Last Letter, it is plan to see why he was the first to be inducted into the Country Music Songwriters Hall Of Fame. His biggest hit, the Tennessee Waltz, has been recorded by just about every major artist out there and is still going strong
