You may not have heard of Dave Weiner yet , but you will! This guy is raising the bar for all of us.  There are not many guitar players out there who can play along side of Steve Vai, but Dave has and for quite a few years now.  But his greatest achievement is his solo work.  His first album will blow you away, and the next one is in the works.

Brandi Carlile
I found out about Brandi from Terra Naomi.  This girl has an amazing voice like no other I have heard. She is also a fantastic song writer.  She reminds me of some of the great folk writers of years ago that told stories in their songs that everyone could relate to.  Give her a listen I think you will be pleased.

DC Slater
I often spend time on MySpace, YouTube, and Indie 911 searching out new talent to inspire me. It helps to see others doing the same thing I am doing and seeing what works and what doesn't. There is a lot of great talent out there, but every now and then you come across someone who has raised the bar for the rest of us to reach. DC Slater is one of those people.  Not only is this guy an incredible writer of instrumental rock, but his playing is something you just have to hear for yourself. He is deadly accurate with a guitar in his hands and will have you hanging on every note.  With two CD's under his belt, he is well on his way and his newest release "Altitude" is his best to date. If you love great guitar work like I do, check out DC Slater. You will not be disappointed.

All I can say is WOW! This guy is incredible.  If you are into instrumental rock guitar players this dude is a must listen!  Not only is he amazing to hear, but he is even more amazing to watch.  His Myspace site is full of great videos for your enjoyment and there are plenty on YouTube as well.
